There are many ways to help remove your anxiety without chemicals and prescribed drugs.
For example there are many natural and herbal remedies you can use. Many scientific studies have shown a strong correlation between reduced anxiety and taking supplements of St. Johns wort, chamomile and valerian root. There are also natural oils that you can use to reduce your anxiety, worry and fear, I believe that nature and natural remedies are an extreemely beneficial way to end anxiety.
Another beneficial supplement is magnesium. Magnesium works in your body to reduce the effects of anxiety from day to day worries to full blown panic attacks. If you have a magnesium deficiency (get Dr’s opinion), you may be more anxious that you would normally be. Magnesium supplements can be obtained from a local health food stores, use them and see if it improves your thinking and mindset.
A great way to improve your anxiety and mindset is to eat well and by that I mean healthily and naturally. Although it may seem silly to link your anxiety to what you have eaten, it has been scientifically proven that the foods you eat have a big impact on your mental functioning and therefore your attitude and then actions. Studies have shown a correlation between unhealthy eating i.e. high salt, high sugar, highly processed foods and high anxiety and stress. Best way to combat anxiety is to incorporate more fruits, whole grains and vegetables into your regular diet. Check you are not intolerant to anything you are currently eating also as that may be triggering your anxiety which is a common experience. Also keep hydrated, drink 8 + glasses of water a day to keep your mind and body functioning at your healthiest level.
Internal reflection, internal visualising, Meditatation or prayer are also very beneficial to remove anxiety, worry and fear. Mindfully taking your thoughts off away from your stressor and focusing them inwards on something peaceful & calm will reduce your anxiety and fear immensely. When your anxious thoughts appear then perhaps focus inwardly and repeat a positive mantra to yourself or if your beliefs allow perhaps pray for help and assistance. Concentrate your thinking entirely on this, and eventually your anxiety will evaporate on its own.
Another natural rememdy is exercise. It has been proven that the quickest way to change your mood is to change your physiology. Take some time to exercise. Whether anxiety has just struck or you are chronically anxious and panicked, exercising or moving differently will help. Physical activity releases endorphins which increase happiness, and reduce cortisol – a stress producing hormone. As soon as you start to feel anxious, go and workout, take a walk, or do star jumps or running on the spot – anything, just move differently! Taking regular exercise will decrease the amount of anxiety you feel over time and some say that regular slow jogging with it’s methodical steps is very therapeutic.

Finally, you couldn’t get more natural than breathing! Breathe deeply and slowly. When you get anxious, your breathing quickens, which reduces the amount of oxygen to your brain. This makes it more difficult to think clearly and form logical reasoning and decision making. When experiencing this take a moment to focus on taking deep belly breaths. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold the breath for 2 seconds, and then release it for 7 seconds, counting as you do. Doing this for a minimum of 3 times, should help to calm your nerves and relax your body.
In my opinion, natural remedies are always the best cure, however, it’s for you to decide what’s best for you. Please research what’s on offer medical and natural and what could possibly be available for you that may assist you in becoming calmer, more confident and in control.
And if one way doesn’t have the result that you want then try and try again, there is an answer for you to end your anxiety, worry, fear and stress – please always remember that and keep going until you find the one that works for you.
